conventional theories about the world in general is discussed how the universe came to be with the emergence of big bang.
theory wise flaws:
- abstract speed and pattern of spreading - the concept of dark matter and dark energy. we cannot see it but it can be perceived.
- better model of there being multiple big bangs? system of understanding universe is incomplete.
life evolved - idea of evolution - all about mutation - best adapted survives
rethinking gaps and flaws:
- does evolution work for humans?
- 99.95 % dna shared with apes but humans are still very different from them.
- 200,000 years oh human history but only
- 50,000 of recorded history.
- there were different types of human beings - homo sapiens took over. lack of diversity in human species. domination of the humans - fittest, knowledge and language
human minds being unique
- brains - neuroscience - experience into memories differentiates bw short term and long term memory emotions based memories storage - which formulates your individuality individuality has different identities which becomes a personality according to the world theory - major principles in mainstream
- randomized design
- materialistic - tangible and measurable
- emergent - bottom - up - atoms to people
- worldview filters memory - processing of experiences - compartmentalize long term and short term memory
questions to think about -
how do babies know how to differentiate between them, again emotion driven.
where does the personality come from?
where does consciousness come from, where do thoughts come from?
where does the brain store memory. entire brain stores it??
current model of brain as a city, synapses as road and hitting each other creates thoughts
how does one think??? it is not linear as a scientific methodology.
in practice, an idea (final product) creates a process. later.
Einstein - patent office, day dream, idea hit, and then look for evidence
Watson - double helix dna and and the sprout of the idea from looking at the spiral staircase
receiving ideas in a relaxed state of mind is that why we get the best ideas while being on the toilet or in the shower, where we are at ease and let the thoughts flow seamlessly.
"to be creative, you must trust the universe."
- you have to be open to ideas and be intuitive and open like a sponge
- scientific method may be used to later give structure to the whole idea and process.
- where does the openness come from if not from exposure??
- we communicate with higher power a lot (NDE's, - they see a tunnel with light that draws them in, love, peace and life review happens, higher power giving them an option)
- psychedelics - shamans used it to gain access to the divine
- civilzations - having common motifs - cosmic serpent which also looks like DNA - paintings and sculptures
- Meditation
- great books - Dante in divine comedy, homer in the iliad - description like an NDE, common themes
- spirit world existence
- what is the model of reality
- newer possibilities mentioned Kant - not observers but participants of reality. we can never know reality because we always filter it using time and space we dont see the noumena but the phenomena
what the heck is the noumena why those filters how to guarantee common perception
Hegel and the Geist theory (spirit world)
- Geist gives us the time and space
- same source, same perception
quantum mechanics theory Bohr model of atom - nucleus and electrons - electron cloud - are atoms matter ? they are vibrations making up the quantum field - it can be a wave or a particle the theory of wave function collapse Schrodinger's cat theory - cat and poison - when the box is unopened - itis both dead and alive friend experiment - wigners friend - what if i dont see the box, there is no objective reality, because the wave function doesnt collapse for the friend, he has to do it himself the reality has to be participated in by the stakeholders everyone has a unique universe and reality to live in
theory of reality
everything is vibrations
vibrations consist of information
brain is connected to the universe
vibrations and experiences get turned into memories
memories as a vibration - stored in the universe
implanting self to the universe
this experience is turned into a story by every civilization
Dante - monad - source of everything - totality of love - heaven
dyads - vibrational forces - pairs and creates new things
low frequency - less vibration - matter is here
spirit world is immutable - eternal -
humans as corporeal - we feel everything - experiences are unique
the principle of free will
how do you know what is good and evil
love as an indication of good - monad's essence in every person
death as release
hate at the lower frequency - hell example - Hinduism - metaphor - in the house of Indra, there are pearls that float, pearls reflect other pearls, sparks in us and our spark lights up and expands and reflects in other people Dante - people as mirrors and candle as god. we reflect the flame - does not matter how near or far. god is love, eternal compassion, forgiveness. life of imagination, righteousness and virtue - expand the consciousness of the universe - role of people
early religions - if had similar ideas, how did we become a materialistic society?
the problem is we have heaven, earth and hell. the heaven is spiritual and conscious
hell is mechanical - technology has a way to conquer and control - fear of death - science as a way to forget divinity and spirituality
earth in between - where we need to choose
transhumanism - surpass humanity, retaining consciousness
secret society and their motivations -
transgressions
symmetry and unity and as above so below - reflection of each other
the theory of inversion - to maintain the power
war between heavens and hells
war over perception - we are fighting to conquer state of mind and opinions
thoughts from this one
this one i had to pause in the middle and take a breather because the theories discussed are very unique and disturbs the thoughts that i am pre-trained on. i keep reminding myself just like the prof does, to listen to his classes not like the absolute truth but as theories. to constantly challenge and question these theories and not be complacent to any of it.
in this class, we fundamentally question what reality means. what is truth? i have always struggled with this question all my life. i decided from a young age that i want to figure out the truth of the matters that im surrounded with. when i watched news, i witnessed contradictory opinions and that really messed up with my brain when i was a child, i did not really understand back then there are different realities, motivations and different definitions of truths itself. as i went through this class, it makes me feel a bit uneasy that my naive quest might remain unfulfilled and a little incomplete because my truth may just be unique to me and for me to understand what my truth is, comes a point where i need to understand my values, virtues and deal breaker and motivations and ethics and that determines my truth in the universe and the current timeline i find myself in.
